IDS Logistics UK offer an established freight management service that works exclusively in the fashion, general merchandise and FMCG sector.

Our network is made up of our own offices together with a small number of global partners. Each partner has been selected on the strength of their expertise in the local market. Most have been working with us for over 10 years.

During the last full year we managed over £600m+ of inbound retail merchandise. This has arrived into 38 UK warehouses from 29 countries. Whether it is EXW, FCA or FOB, we are able to track merchandise from despatch to delivery.

The freight team of 32 have between them significant experience within in the industry in both import and export. Using in-house developed systems, they are able to track product at SKU level all the way to the destination warehouse, whether it is a IDS Logistics UK location or direct to the retailer DC or store.

With specific members of the team each responsible for individual routes they are able to quickly establish a relationship with the factory and ensure that the upstream compliance, licenses and documentation are all presented in accordance with our SOP.

All our warehouses are Public Customs Warehouse Type A, enabling authorised customers to deposit their goods imported from outside the EU and defer the import Duty and import VAT until despatched. Products from outside the EU in the Customs warehouse regime can also be re-exported outside the EU without payment of import taxes.
