Our systems and service are built upon a modular
framework allowing selected elements to be used
from within the full supply management service.
These are:
Product Cost Price Calculator
- As a web-based application, simply input the
product details, FOB or CIF price, packing method
and port of origin, and the system will generate
a fully detailed cost price delivered to DC
or store. It can be used to compare quotes from
different regions and assess the cost impact
of changes to pack size, freight method, payment
terms, currency rates and storage assumptions
for each product.
Product Purchase Ordering
- Electronic purchase orders are raised using
the IDS Logistics UK web-based tool and 'sent'
via email to suppliers or factories for acceptance
or amendment. All transactions are recorded
for audit purposes. Alternatively a customer-ordering
platform can be interfaced directly to initiate
the IDS Logistics UK product tracking system.
Product Tracking - We track
all products at PO and SKU level. Visibility
is established from supplier equipment request,
with tracking information updated at all key
stages, through to warehouse delivery. Using
this detailed visibility and bespoke reports
we can answer key questions on despatch timeliness,
ratio and quantity compliance. Combining this
with order status and UK warehouse stock position
and we can provide a valuable upstream and downstream
view, recommending the appropriate action to
optimise retail sales and supply chain costs.
